Terms of Service

Guess the Image · Effective 4 October 2026 · Discord Activity

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Guess the Image Discord Activity (the "Service"). By opening the Service inside Discord you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Guess the Image is a free, multiplayer picture-guessing party game. The Service provides game rooms, rounds, scoring and an optional per-server leaderboard. The Service is provided for entertainment purposes.

2. Accounts

You sign in with your Discord account through Discord's official OAuth flow. You are responsible for your Discord account and for all activity that happens through it in the Service. You must be allowed to use Discord under its own Terms of Service.

3. Fair play and acceptable use

Play in good faith: no bots, macros, auto-answering scripts or other automation.
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
Do not use the Service for harassment, spam or any unlawful purpose.
Do not misrepresent your identity or tamper with scores or leaderboards.

4. Game content

Question pictures and metadata are sourced from public references (primarily Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia) and are used solely to let players identify the subject of each round. Credits are listed with each question pack.

5. Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend or disconnect the Service at any time, with or without notice — including room resets, score resets or feature changes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Scores and leaderboards

Game results are stored to power the per-server leaderboard. We may remove scores that we reasonably believe were obtained through cheating or abuse, and we may reset leaderboard data at any time.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the creators of the Service are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Your sole remedy is to stop using the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
