Guess the Image · Effective 4 October 2026 · Discord Activity

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Guess the Image Discord Activity ("we", "us") collects, how it is used, and your choices.

1. What we collect

Discord identity — your Discord user ID, display name and avatar, obtained through Discord's official OAuth flow (GET /users/@me). We never see or ask for your password or email.
Game statistics — per-server results: number of games played, wins, total points and best streak, stored together with your user ID and the server (guild) ID.
Room activity — answers and scores during a round are processed live to run the game and are not written to permanent storage (only the end-of-game results above are kept).

2. What we do NOT collect

No email address, phone number or payment information.
No direct messages or message content from your servers.
No advertising trackers, analytics SDKs or fingerprinting.

3. How it is used

To authenticate you, run game rooms, display live scores to players, and power the per-server leaderboard (which is visible to players in the same server). Nothing else.

4. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your data. Data is only processed by the infrastructure that runs the game (the game server and its Cloudflare tunnel) and by Discord for sign-in.

5. Storage and retention

Game statistics are stored in a database on our server. Leaderboard entries are kept until they are reset or until you ask us to remove them. Removing the app's access from your Discord settings revokes the sign-in token immediately.

6. Third parties

Sign-in is governed by Discord's Privacy Policy: discord.com/privacy. Question images come from Wikimedia Commons / Wikipedia and are covered by their own licenses.

7. Your choices

You can disconnect the app at any time in Discord → Settings → Authorized Apps. You may also request deletion of your leaderboard statistics by messaging us on our Discord server: discord.gg/KTDHhauamX.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under the minimum age required by Discord's Terms of Service.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last updated.
